“I enjoy working on the all of the Grant Thornton illustrations just because I can get my pencil and sketch book out again, if I had to name one (favourite image) it would have to be the reaching a goal image because the narrative gave me a chance to draw helicopters and lorries again. A particular favourite pass time, back when I was a budding artist at 9 or 10.”

Paul graduated from Harrow School of Art and has been working in the design, advertising and publishing world ever since. Paul currently works for the Gorard Dean creative agency.

"The work for Grant Thornton involves a way of thinking that illustrators often have drummed out of them at an early age, lateral thinking. Clever use of illustrations can help express an idea or concept with greater clarity in a conversely more complicated world".

"Working with Grant Thornton was an enjoyable experience. It's great when a commercial client gives you quite a lot of freedom with ideas and concepts and aren't too restrictive. Having to illustrate such broad global sectors in one single image was a challenge, but a good one."
