Efes-Russia is a subsidiary of the International Brewing Holding, Efes Breweries International, which in total owns 11 breweries in Russia, Serbia, Moldova and Kazakhstan.

Efes entered Russia in 1999 and are now one of the top players in the beer market, owning five breweries located in Moscow, Rostov-na-Don, Ufa, Kazan and Novosibirsk. The company controls 10% of the Russian beer market, which means that one out of ten liters of beer, consumed by Russians is produced by Efes.

Efes-Russia produces many well known brands such as Efes Pilsener, Staryi melnik, Belyi medved, Solodov and Krasnay Vostok.
