One Report: Integrated Reporting for a Sustainable Strategy - from Grant Thornton and the Harvard Business School

Grant Thornton International is pleased to announce the publication of a new book titled "One Report: Integrated Reporting for a Sustainable Strategy", co-authored by Michael Krzus, a Grant Thornton US partner, and Harvard Business School faculty member Robert G. Eccles. Both are global corporate reporting experts. The book has already been translated into Mandarin Chinese and will shortly be available in Russian. A Portuguese version is also planned.

The book advocates the integration of financial and non financial information into "One Report" to promote greater transparency and improve corporate reporting. This practice is now being adopted by leading companies all over the world.

One Report provides expert insights, case studies and proven best practice to show how integrating financial and non financial information, such as environmental, social and governance performance, into a single report can drive sustainability into a company's strategy and create value for the company, its shareholders and all other stakeholders.

One Report is aimed at CEOs, CFOs, board members, institutional investors, public pension funds and other stakeholders including non-governmental organisations and includes:

  • an analysis of the state of financial and non financial reporting today
  • the benefits of practicing integrated reporting for companies
  • some case studies from companies that are currently practicing One Report
  • a look at how the internet can be used to improve corporate reporting
  • actions for companies, investors, governments and civil society to accelerate the broad adoption of integrated reporting for a sustainable society.

Copies of the book can be purchased from the Grant Thornton US website at www.grantthornton.com/onereport for US$39.95 plus shipping or from all major online book retailers.
